DAY 01

Arrive at O R Tambo International Airport. Collect your hired car and proceed to your hotel. Visit Gold Reef City later in the day, which is a replica of an early mining town. There is a chance to descend 220 metres underground into the old Crown Mine. Enjoy the bars, restaurants and entertainment centre, and shops that reflect the old, pioneer town atmosphere.

OVERNIGHT IN HOUGHTON ESTATE, MELROSE ARCH OR MORNINGSIDE

DAY 02

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Pretoria. Visit historic sites such as the Voortrekker Monument, Paul Kruger House, Church Square and the Union Buildings. Continue to the Cullinan area and visit the Cullinan Diamond Mine, situated 30 km east of Pretoria, one of the richest diamond mines in the world.

DAY 03

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to the Waterberg / Welgevonden area, a malaria-free area rich in streams, springs, wetlands and home to the Big 5. Afternoon / evening game drive followed by a scrumptious dinner.

DAY 04

An early morning bush walk precedes a hearty breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure. Enjoy a delicious high tea before leaving for an afternoon / evening game drive followed by dinner.

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, check out of the Game Lodge and drive to the Nylsvlei Area

After breakfast enjoy the day at the Garden Spa which offers a luxurious range of beauty and spa treatments or visit the Nylsvlei Bird Sanctuary nearby
