Post on 23rd February 2012 in Blog, Safari, South Africa

Most of us don’t need much tempting when it comes to a fabulous bush holiday at a luxury lodge, but just in case, here are a few recent sightings at our lodges (posted on the Facebook pages of the various lodges) that will instantly revive any dormant safari aspirations!

Catnap of Note! This big kitty was seen lights out and lying low at Lukimbi Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park

Guess this must have been taken on a Friday! Big beast "hangs out" lazily at Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge in the Sabi Sand. Talk about bushed ... Pic taken by Tristan Dicks

The paintbox bird: Lilac Breasted Roller taken at Sabi Sabi, Sabi Sand by Jaap van Dijk

Can't you just imagine Eeyore here amongst them? Ellies taking the heat off things at Jaci's Lodges in the Madikwe Game Reserve

It's a Dog's Life in the Kapama Private Game Reserve. This wild dog takes a mo to catch his breath

Can't you see they're all ready and waiting for your arrival? Big boys meet and greet their guests at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand

By this stage you must surely be ready to pack and go, so mail us for some suggestions, or call 0860 102 907 (local) or +27 21 797-7122 (international). Have a look at our specials  (safari specials and others) before you decide.

What stunning photographs, certainly makes one crave ‘the bush’

Yes, indeed. The pull back to the wilderness is a strong one. They say no matter how far the river flows, it always finds its way back to the source, and there’s something about the pull to the wilderness that’s like a yearning for back to beginnings, back to the roots of it all. Safaris certainly are a good way of finding wilderness again.
