The rare wild dog – aptly called the painted dog – is a prized sighting for wildlife-lovers, and it’s in the Madikwe Game Reserve where such sightings are most likely to happen. For photographers, capturing the swift, super-charged antics of the wild dog make for an interesting challenge, and the rewards of catching the action on film are considerable. Tuningi Safari Lodge invites aspiring wildlife photographers to join an exciting photographic workshop.

The workshop will run from 28 May – 1 June (four nights) at Tuningi Safari Lodge , where guests will have the opportunity to snap up some great pics with wildlife photographer Deon De Villiers. Bush drives will be geared for getting the best shots, and Deon will teach some speedy and simple processing techniques.

The rate is R3295 per person per night sharing in a luxurious five-star lodge, inclusive of all meals, safari drives and workshop costs. A minimum of four guests and a maximum of six are required for the workshop to go ahead.  If the workshop appeals, but the date or duration doesn’t suit, please enquire about alternative options.
