Boomslang Tree Canpy Walk at Kirstenbosch
The ‘Boomslang’ Centenary Tree Canopy Walk is a wonderful way of enjoying 360 degree views of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens in Cape Town. The 130 m long walkway is a curved steel and timber bridge weaving through and above the Arboretum. The walkway was inspired by a snake skeleton – hence its nickname ‘The Boomslang’ (tree snake). Do include it during your visit to Kirstenbosch, and sit a minute on the bench at the highest point to drink in the gorgeous views. To get there, follow the signposts in the garden.
