Fly from Johannesburg to either Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, Skukuza or Hoedspruit Airport, depending on your chosen safari destination, and then transfer by road to a luxury safari lodge in the celebrated Kruger National Park. A small number of private concessions within the Kruger Park have been granted to private luxury lodges – exquisite safari outposts that are set away from the camps administered by South African National Parks, and have their own traversing territory. Guided safari drives are usually done on both private gravel roads within the concession and on Kruger National Park roads. Enjoy early morning game drives; late afternoon drives that continue after dark; sundowners in the wilderness; and guided foot safaris. Relax at beautiful pool decks between safaris and feast on wonderful food and wine, usually enjoyed outdoors in a variety of settings.
