Holiday Activities

Mod and trendy, and sporting all the entertainments holiday-folk could wish for, Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront is a wonderful re-emergence and “upvamp” of what was once just a small jetty, built by Jan van Riebeeck in 1654 during his creation of a refreshment station at the Cape.

It doesn’t really matter whether you say Magaliesberg (the area) or Magaliesburg (the town), the magical Magaliesberg is a stretch of countryside that runs the length of the ancient Magaliesberg mountains, and makes a convincing plea as a no-regrets retreat for soul-weary city folk.
