About Klaarstroom Hotel

Klaarstroom Hotel is a stayover gem and namesake of a small Karoo hamlet in the Prince Albert district - a place that remains true to its original Karoo-village character. This appealing hotel offers a quiet escape with ample Victorian charm. On site there is The Fat Fig restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner; a bar; pool-garden; and nine attractive rooms. The Honeymoon Room is set apart from the hotel in the garden, and features a kitchenette, fireplace, and private patio.  Klaarstroom is positioned where the Great and Little Karoo intersect, giving visitors access to Route 62 and its many attractions. One of the Klaarstroom village's defining quirks is the making of witblitz using the mineral-rich mountain water - this is the 'firewater' known also as moonshine.  Mail us Children: All Ages
