Nungubane Game Lodge

Nungubane Game Lodge is situated on a hilltop in Welgevonden Game Reserve, a 40 000-hectare tract of wilderness that forms part of the world's only savanna biosphere - a treasured, UNESCO-proclaimed site reached in about 3 hours from Johannesburg. At Nungubane no more than ten guests are treated to an intimate traditional safari in a malaria-free wilderness. Five spacious chalets grant majestic views from private decks, whilst the main camp provides appealing dining and relaxation facilities. The boma allows for outdoor dinners around a blazing campfire. Twice-daily game drives are a highlight of any stay, bringing sightings of the Big Five, many kinds of plains game and hundreds of bird species. The camp is fenced to make it safe from predators and large animals.
