Shumbalala Game Lodge

Shumbalala Game Lodge offers a luxury safari on the banks of the seasonal Monwana River in the Big 5 Thornybush Private Nature Reserve in Limpopo Province. Overlooking a waterhole where animals gather, the lodge offers excellent opportunities for viewing Africa’s wildlife, whether from the lodge or on the open-vehicle safari drives that take place twice a day. Thornybush forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park, allowing for varied and exciting animal sightings. The central lodge is an appealing sanctuary for relaxation, its deck areas raised and open to overlook the wilderness.  Four stone-clad luxury suites are set beneath trees, each with an indoor fireplace and private viewing deck, as well as indoor and outdoor showers and private plunge pool.
