The Red Caboose

The Red Caboose is a delightfully unique, restored South African Railways train carriage offering accommodation 'on the train' on Red Earth Farm, just a few kilometres from McGregor in the Western Cape. The farm provides a beautiful nature setting for the carriage, offering wide valley and mountain views. Outdoor amenities for Red Caboose guests include a wood-fired hot tub, a firepit for barbeques, and a splash pool for warm weather.   This carriage offers two bedrooms, a bathroom with bath, basin and toilet, and an equipped self-catering kitchen complete with bar fridge and freezer, stove, oven, cutlery, crockery, and beverage-making equipment.
