Rise and shine at 5:00 for the first invigorating safari of the day, when the wilderness re-emerges from the night, fresh and new. A few hours on the safari vehicle with your ranger and tracker are likely to reveal some incredible wildlife sightings in a reserve that is home to all the Big Five and much besides.
The Makutsi River is the perfect panorama for the breakfast spread enjoyed on return from the game drive.
If activity and adventure call, venture out into the wilds with your guides on a foot safari after breakfast, or succumb to some spa pampering in camp. The pool deck is a grand way to keep cool and be at rest – bush views are truly spectacular from the huge rimflow pool! Leisure decks offer solitude and unimpeded bush views. Be fortified for the second safari by a delicious late lunch.
Sundown is a precious time in the wilderness. While out on the second 4×4 safari of the day, glasses are filled and raised to the setting sun.
After sunset, the drive continues under a darkening sky. Nocturnal animals become the focus of interest.
