DAY 01  
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport.  Collect your hired car and drive to your hotel.

DAY 02  
After breakfast, visit world-famous Table Mountain (weather permitting), Cape Town city centre, including the Castle of the Cape of Good Hope, museums, the Bo-Kaap (Malay Quarter) and Houses of Parliament.  Then on to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront where you can enjoy markets, shops, a harbour tour, or take a Catamaran trip to famous Robben Island.

DAY 03 
After breakfast, visit Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, home to some 6 000 different species of flora. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point, stopping at the beautiful Boulders Beach en route. Boulders Beach is home to the only Jackass penguin colony in the Cape Peninsula.  At Cape Point you can enjoy scenic walks or take the funicular to the lookout point for stunning views. Alternatively, visit Hout Bay and board a boat to Seal Island. Drive along the spectacular Atlantic Seaboard via Llandudno, Camps Bay and Sea Point.

DAY 04 
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to the Winelands (approximately a 60-70 km drive, depending on your destination).  Explore the wine routes of Franschhoek or Stellenbosch. Enjoy spectacular scenery on prestigious wine estates, do some tastings, and lunch out at the winery of your choice.

DAY 05

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to the pretty country town of Robertson. Explore the Robertson Art Route, visit a local winery or olive farm, or visit a bird sanctuary or museum.

DAY 06 
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive inland to Oudsthoorn over the picturesque Tradouw Pass, entering the “Little Karoo” at Barrydale.  Continue via Ladismith, set against the imposing Swartberg Mountains, on to Oudtshoorn.  (approximately a 400 km drive).

DAY 07

After an early breakfast, visit the Cango Caves, internationally renowned as one of the world’s great natural wonders with spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations. Also visit the Ostrich Show Farm and Cango Wildlife Ranch. Drive to the scenic Knysna area (approximately 150 km drive).

OVERNIGHT IN KNYSNA

DAY 08 

Take a cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve.  Enjoy a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head, and lunch under old milkwood trees.

DAY 09 
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head towards Jeffrey’s Bay.  Drive through the dense indigenous Tsitsikamma forests with giant yellowwood trees, waterfalls, lakes, mountains, streams and deep gorges  (approximately a 198 km drive from Knysna and 241 km from Wilderness).  Jeffrey’s Bay is a picturesque seaside town and a hot-spot for surfers.

DAY 10 
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Port Elizabeth Airport (approximately a 80 km drive).  Return the hired car.  Fly from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg.  Then fly from Johannesburg to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport or Hoedspruit Airport.  A representative from a private game lodge will meet and transfer you to the lodge.  Enjoy a late afternoon / evening game drive and return to a congenial dinner at the lodge.

OVERNIGHT IN HOEDSPRUIT AREA OR SABI SANDS

DAY 11 
Experience an exhilarating early morning game drive before a late breakfast.  Rest of the morning at leisure or enjoy a guided bush walk in the reserve, returning for lunch.  Afternoon / evening game drive is followed by dinner.

OVERNIGHT IN HOEDSPRUIT AREA OR SABI SANDS

DAY 12

After an early morning game drive and breakfast you will be transferred back to Hoedspruit or Kruger Mpumalanga Airport.  Collect a hired car and drive to Hazyview or White River area to overnight at accommodation of your choice.

DAY 13 

After breakfast, visit the historic gold mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest, Robbers’ Pass and Lone Creek Falls.  Experience the charms of a bygone era and a world of infinite curiosity.  If time permits, visit the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon, the unusually weathered Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window.

OVERNIGHT IN WHITE RIVER OR HAZYVIEW

DAY 14

After breakfast, drive to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport or Hoedspruit Airport.  Return the hired car and fly to O R Tambo International Airport for your flight back home.
