Soon Spring will be delivering its festive wildflower displays,  so start planning a blooming good Spring flower getaway. One superb wildflower getaway option is Sanbona Wildlife Reserve in the Little Karoo. Spring brings colourful carpets of flowers to the area – daisies feature abundantly, but there are also some pretty unusual varieties to be seen. The Hoodia, for instance, is a rare plant which the San people used medicinally. Sanbona is well known for its fynbos and its many fascinating varieties of succulents.
